An exclusive train set that brings you everything you need to enjoy the classic excitement of a On30-scale static train display. Available only from Hawthorne Village collection by The Bradford Exchange. This collectible train features a wealth of rich detail. The Train makes a superb heirloom-quality addition to your collection and is memorabilia that is second to none for Hawthorne Village. NOTE: The train does NOT operate properly, so it is sold only as a Static Display piece with potential, (unless you try and send it back to Bachmann for repairs or just enjoy it as a display piece.) There are some minor cosmetic issues as well. Remember it is sold as a NON-WORKING Train, but maybe you can fix it to be made operational again? So use for display or a diorama etc. HAWTHORN VILLAGE Spirit of America set includes only the Steam Loco. It is set up to use HO track although the engine looks similar to larger scale O/O-27 gauge items -- they are not small as most HO scale items...almost looks like the real life narrow gauge trains used out west. Included are the Following Items only: 1 engine. These Trains are Highly Detailed collectibles. You are also getting the Famous Bachmann Train Guarantee. (These trains are called ON30 which are capable of running on HO track. They appear to be somewhat larger than regular HO scale trains.) Best thing is that the train maybe guaranteed for life by both Hawthorne & Bachmann, so send it back to them and for a fee they will fix or replace it, NO BETTER GUARANTEE.
