The windup motor does not work. Early 1916 model with 10 spoke wheels. Has the 120 tender. Missing the pin for the tender. It is graded on its appearance only. We have endeavored to describe all toys and collectables to the best of our ability – however THIS IS NOT A WARRANTY.
American Flyer Cast Iron Prewar Windup Locomotive – A. F. 10 – incomplete. The windup works, but it is missing the 2 front wheels and the drive rods. Measures approx. 3″H x 6-1/4″L x 2-1/2″W (including the key).
6” cast iron loco made 1920’s looks like an Ives No 5. It has no visible stamped number, tinplate 8-spoke red wheels, 2 square windows each side. It has no rods, no brake, no boiler band. It takes a screw-on type key, not included.
The wind up mechanism on this works but the activation mechanism either doesn’t work or I don’t know how to do it properly.
7.75” cast iron 0-4-0 wind-up loco is one of AF’s largest, made teens to 1920. On piece of tape inside cab. 8-spoke die cast wheels with red spokes and off-set side rods look original. It has a wire hand-brake lever, screw-on type key is missing.
WITH THE BEST PICTURES POSSIBLE I WILL LET YOU MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND OF ITS CONDITION.
Needs a restoration. Was not tested, looks to have a broken stem where you put on a windkey. See all photos for what you get. It is graded on its appearance only. We have endeavored to describe all toys and collectables to the best of our ability – however THIS IS NOT A WARRANTY.
