The switcher is a replica of the AT&SF model, manufactured in the United States in 1951. It is suitable for ages 12-16 years and is part of the 3-rail-2-conductor rail system.

These are my idea of what a tune up kit should consist of to tune up these ATHEARN switchers, the diagrams are from my collection of locomotives and are included with your select purchase. Each kit comes with two motor mounts, two motor brushes and two motor brush springs plus the copy of the exploded locomotive model diagram.
