This O gauge locomotive features light function and is part of the Three-Rail System. It is a brand new, mint condition collectible from the brand Lionel, perfect for model railroad enthusiasts aged 17 years and up. This Locomotive has never been run, it is in its original box plus shipping container and is shown in the 2003 Volume I Lionel catalog.These early 2000 Command equipped engines are every bit as nice as the current production but are much less expensive.
This is aLionel 152 New York Central Prewar O-gauge Locomotive. It has a fair amount of paint loss, but is complete with NO missing parts, rust or other issues.
Please note that the outer cardboard box is missing. Measures 15″ x 2 1/2″.
It has not been detailed or cleaned, so a light cleaning may improve its overall appearance. If you’d like photos of any specific part, feel free to ask.
It functions. Couplers function as well. It needs a lubrication maintenance and it looks like it will perform well on the layout. A good cleaning and it will look great on the wall as well. Bonus to the collector is the box.
TESTED AND RUNS GREAT FORWARD AND REVERSE ARE STRONG. HORN WOULD NOT SOUND BUT I COULD HEAR THE RELAY CYCLE. ORIGINAL BOX IS IN POOR CONDITION.
