Here we have a custom painted brass Sunset ATSF 2-8-2 model of #3160, which was the first of a batch of 128 built by Baldwin. They were a very successful workhorse for the ATSF. Take a look at the added picture of #3160, with newish looking paint.

Imported from Japan in 1971. Custom painted, lettered, numbered & weathered to match Southern Pacific #3271. It kind of felt/looked like the gears were slipping but we aren’t 100% sure what the issue is.
