This was recently cleaned and lightly oiled. This runs great in forward and reverse with a working headlight. The handrails are in complete unbroken condition, The horns are there too. The colors on this really pop nicely especially for its age.

Similar to the Ernst gear set this Heiden set allowed slower speed running via a gear reduction for Athearn B trucks. They were not as popular and did not last long on the market. Apparently they are more fussy to install and very loud when installed.
Listed is a Burlington Northern Baldwin RF-16 “Sharknose” locomotive, using the first generation PowerTorque drive. This engine was tested and runs both directions and is equipped with a working headlight. Both couplers are intact. One of the truck sideframes is missing and the horn detail is broken off. Lubricants up to date and this item comes from a smoke free household.
