The Athearn HO Union Pacific UP GP50 #971 is a DC-powered diesel locomotive ready to go or pre-built for model railroad enthusiasts. This toy train features the iconic Union Pacific Railroad corporate roadname in multi-color plastic material, with a scale of 1:87 and grade of C-7 Excellent. This has been tested and runs well. It is not in the correct box.
It runs smooth with original box. Each loco is missing the top right horn. Unless otherwise noted, all locomotives run smooth and all cars and locos are in original boxes and fitted with Kadee couplers.
Also included is a rare genuine ASTER electric steam-raising blower with a 9.4 mm chimney insert. This original ASTER accessory is difficult to find and adds significant value to the set.
