Tenshodo JNR C53 Steam Locomotive (Deflectors Equipped) No. 488. It replicates Japan’s unique 3-cylinder C53 locomotive with smoke deflectors, highly popular among collectors. This locomotive has not been power tested and was only removed for photos.
It is painted cream and green with black lettering. It also features factory-installed TSU WOW-Sound DCC and Sound. We specialize in HO and N scales, and are very knowledgeable about model trains in general.
This train is new in box and in great condition with no damage or really any wear on it. Train was stored in an attic so has a ever so slight odor to it but overall it is in great condition. I set out to model this and created demonstrators and other new power to run with an OMI test car (since sold). This AC4400CW demo actually tested on the B&P in 1993 or 1994. The rear end has the open number board cutouts.

” Like New” AHM 5054 PRR GE Diesel U 25 C, Cab 6500, twin vertical headlights and tail lights, lighted number boards and added Kadee couplers and brakeman. All outer axles are geared, the center axles are idlers, and each truck has two traction wheels. This engine had minimal use (Less than 3 hours) among a hundred others, as I am a steam fan. The model railroad was never finished due to a long range move and subsequent entry into 2 rail O Scale. All stored HO guage trains are being liquidated. This engine has been fully tested, there are no defects and all parts present, ready to run. This engine will be shipped USPS Ground Advantage mail in it’s original box.
