This model is in almost MINT condition, sadly when I tested the model one of the number board panels popped out and I wasn’t able to find it again. Model has had zero run time besides the bench test. Both A units are equipped with functional MARS lights (not DCC). The box is in used condition, at some point some water got onto the corner, but it still holds its shape like new. The paint in these models is factory done. These models run very quietly. Comes with original parts bag, has drawbars, screws, etc.

Item is like -new. It has only a few hours of run time at Christmas. This is best for those who are capable of servicing HO scale locos. As typical with Proto 2000, the unit either has hardened grease on the gear or a cracked gear and needs the Athearn replacement part. The motor has zest, but it needs a little attention. The lights work, but as installed by Proto do not light up as bright as others. Item does look great. Stored in a smoke-free environment. Shipping in the US only. No returns.
