This really nice HO gauge loco by Liliput is 105 10 a DR BR 05 steam locomotive in DB black livery with running number 05 001. Since the success of the diesel high speed trains like the Flying Hamburger in the middle of the 1930s, the German locomotive industry turned to faster steam locomotives.

Engine and tender in runner condition. Motor runs but needs the usual cleaning of all moving parts and reverse unit. This model has the smoke and choo choo function and both tested in working condition.
My father obtained this collection from a man I only knew as “Wilcox”. Now why, as a 10 year old boy, I was required to participate in such a mission, I will never know! As I recall the story, Wilcox worked for one (or more) of the large toy train manufactures.
