If you are a GTW modeller these engines only ran on the GTW from 1927 to 1942. After 1942 the GTW ran the later ALCO built U-3-b engines. Until about a couple of years ago I was Grand Trunk Western fan # 1 and collected everything GTW, Models, books, photos, negatives, blueprints.in short, everything GTW.

Item: MTH Norfolk & Western J 4-8-4 Modified Steam Locomotive #611, HO Scale. Spirit of Roanoke. Owned by a Collector, not run but may have been displayed in an enclosed display case. We have tested the locomotive and it is working as it should – runs well!
The locomotive is dusty and one of the traction tires is loose, replacements included. The whistle does not work. It runs a little finicky. Some damage, scratches (see photos). Couplers probably work, not positive though. Some box/foam damage. Paperwork included. No legacy or TMCC. The loco-tender is in excellent lightly used condition, looks almost new (see pictures).
