It has a glossy finish. The engine is made of die cast metal with some plastic details. It is equipped with automatic knuckle couplers. The item is powered via a standard BLI Paragon 4 steam locomotive mechanism. It also has factory installed DCC with sound. It is programmed to operate on #3. It runs well and sounds great. A smoke unit has been factory installed. A “keep alive” circuit was also factory installed. It also has a light feature where the cab light comes on when the engine is idle, forward and reverse headlights, and the marker lights are lighted. It comes assembled and ready to run. It is new in the box and has been test run only. It does come in its original box.
