Manufactured between 1957-67. The shell is in excellent condition with minor wear to the logos, and only needs some cleaning. Motor does run forward and backwards when powered directly. The beat up caboose is included for parts or restoration.

The St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company, known as the “Frisco” railroad, served nine states in the US Mid-American region. It operated between 1876-1980, when it was acquired by the Burlington Northern. Its surviving lines are now operated by the BNSF. For sale is a Frisco diesel engine, Fairbanks Morse H10-44, O-scale, 3-rail (catalog # MT-2067LP). It measures appx 13 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches and weighs appx 6 pounds. It has two DC Cam motors which operate with any AC transformer. It has directional constant voltage lighting, metal handrails, ornamental horn, metal wheels and gears, electronic reverse unit, and realistic point schemes. The engine has heavy duty metal truck sides, wheels and gears; operating die-cast knuckle couplers; and die-cast wheels with flywheel coasting;.
