This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. The unit does not pick up power or run on the test track. This car shows scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This car shows spots of rust on the chassis and trucks. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. AHM HO Scale Southern Pacific SD40 Powered locomotive with Fly Wheel. This unit is new old stock but came out of 25+ years of storage and the box and plastic sleeve show some wear. See Photos. The Unit itself is in great shape and runs well in both directions and shows no wear. The only flaw on the locomotive was part of the rear handrail was partially cracked off and has been glued in place and looks good. As with all vintage locomotives the unit shot e cleaned and lubed.
