The Kato N Scale 701 Southern Pacific DD13 Diesel Locomotive is LIKE-NEW in its display container. This locomotive was in storage for over (10) years and has not been test-run. Before any type of prolonged operation the locomotive should be thoroughly lubricated.

This was NJ’s first Royale Series. 400 of these were imported from Japan in 1975. Tested on 6/24/26 and found her to not run in either direction. Power didn’t seem to be received so we suspect the motor is likely seized from sitting so long unrun.
NIB -New In Box never used. LN – Condition like new, little signs of usage, super clean.
This train is still shrink wrapped in original packaging.
