The locomotive has a NCE Dual Mode DCC decoder installed and will run on both DC and DCC. It also has directional LED headlights, lighted numberboards and Magnetic Knuckle couplers. It has just been serviced with a through cleaning and fresh oil sparingly applied.

You are buying : Vtg Lionel 671 Steam Turbine Locomotive In Box With 2671W Tender O Gauge 6-8-6. Only the locomotive has a box, and it is missing one end ,has been repaired with tape, has creasing and wear.
This is a good runner in both directions. Strong motor. Will pull a lot of cars. Recently lubricated and ready to run. I don’t have the tender for it. Sale is for the 681 locomotive only.
This set is used, no box. This was my father’s he installed a sound system in tender and I don’t know the make. Been in storage for over 35 years will need to be cleaned.
