Gordon is in overall excellent condition with next to no wear at all and when tested ran with a great speed expected of the big blue engine. There is a small spot where the color removed from his face though I find it not too noticeable. See all of the photos for the best accuracy though.

Gordon and his tender are in excellent condition with minimal signs of being used at all. The box comparatively is rather beaten but will be very effective for storage all the same.

This locomotive was manufactured in the USA in the late 1930s by General Electric. They had 3800 HP of power and a weight of 165 tons, less than those of New Haven, due to construction changes. The Central do Brasil Railway received 15 locomotives in 1948, which were passed to RFFSA in 1957.
