Lionel 6-8467 O Gauge 3-Rail Non-Powered Amtrak F3A Diesel Locomotive #8466 TESTED. If you collect the F-3’s, this MPC F-3 is one getting tough to find in nice condition. Die-cast trucks and wheels.
The engine runs well, in both forward and reverse. The railings are missing from the engine, also no lighting.
300 of these were imported from Japan in 1974. Unpainted & unnumbered (factory plated). Tested on 6/30/26 and found her to not run in either direction. All we hear was a loud grinding noise when we applied power so we suspect this is a gear related issue but aren’t 100% sure.
