480 of these were imported from Japan in 1974. Custom painted, lettered & numbered to match D&RGW #1151. Tested on 6/22/26 and found her to not run forward & rough/inconsistent in reverse. Minor wheel wear noted during testing.

LNER CLASS A2 ” A.H. PEPPERCORN ” 4-6-2 # 525. BOXED WITH PAPER WORK. HE WAS A COLLECTOR AND NOT A RUNNER. MULTI WHEEL PICK UP. PRE OWNED LOOKS TO BE NEW. MAY HAVE BEEN RUN OR ON DISPLAY ??. THE COUPLER ON THE TENDER IS BROKEN AND IT IS MISSING A BUFFER.

Box has some damage but locomotive is in excellent condition cosmetically. When given power the wheels on the tender arch/spark sporadically. When run in reverse it runs smooth but when ran forward it makes a rubbing noise. For someone who knows how to repair locomotives this would be a good fit. Will be packaged with care. Thank you
