6961 Northern Pacific A-3 4-8-4, #2665, Pre-1947, Black Boiler, Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC, Smoke, HO SCALE. The SP&S locomotives were designated Class E-1. They were mostly identical to the Northern Pacific A-3’s, except all three were oil burners.
The EMD GP9 is a four-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors’ Electro-Motive Division between 1954 and 1959. Externally, the GP9 strongly resembled its predecessor. Most were built with high short hoods, but the Southern Pacific ordered a number with low short hoods for improved crew visibility.

ESU DCC & Sound. Northern Pacific.
Engine is in good condition. There are a few light rub marks/flaws on it. Both windshield wipers are missing. This engine is DCC ONLY! It does not run on DC!! It was tested in DCC and ran good. It is a little squeaky when running. The front headlight works. The DCC address is #614. No box but it will be packed carefully. Please look at all photos. What you see is what you get.
