These are designed to fit the standard Bachmann On30 scale 2-6-0 Mogul loco. To make a tank loco, DCC versions will need to be modified to run without the tender which houses the DCC board. You could also convert the tender to a “fuel-only” type to keep the DCC wiring as-is.
