Made in Japan. Take a look at the photos (enlarged) and see what you think. ALL factory-installed detail parts appear to be present as loco looks to have beenvery gently run! As you can see in photos, the body is in “excellent” overall shape, with only small/minor blemishes.
GN #23 ALCO RS-2 Diesel Locomotive. This is a tested and running diesel loco. It is missing a small handle from the front hood. It is dusty in the hard to reach areas.
The case is not complete. Does not have the insert and the case top has cracks. It was tested.

Vintage Kato/Atlas N Scale RS-1 DSS&A #103 is a highly detailed replica of a diesel locomotive made by Kato 1988-1997, specifically designed for model railroads in N gauge. With the corporate roadname of Duluth South Shore & Atlantic, this locomotive features light function and appears ready for a Michigan U.P. winter haul. This diesel has good paint and runs and lights up with transformer power. I didn’t run it on a layout. It has not been run for a while so a cleaning and lube would be in order. I’m selling as is.
