You are buying LIONEL #2343 Shell and. “all original” F3 parts, except the mounting screws. The heat stamp lettering “Santa Fe” is barely visible –see closeup photo. I painted the pre-production models (Jimbos Custom Painting) for the MTH catalogs and was part of the team that built the M.T.H. showroom layout.

15.5” Virginian FM diesel, made mid 1950’s is black/yellow version. Loco features 2 motors, Magne-Traction, dual headlights, magnetic couplers, battery-op horn, diecast trucks/pilots/gas tank. It ran and reversed, lights worked, couplers are a bit sticky, cleaning should help.
