This locomotive has been taken apart, serviced, cleaned, lubricated and tested. The Marx 591 was produced from 1953-58 and features a black painted tin body, DC battery powered motor, 3 way switch located on top of the boiler for stop, forward and reverse movement. Takes 2 D cell batteries not included. Runs good.
Missing a wheel. Shows wear from use. I moved the 1 lever and the gears started to move on their own with ease. I don’t have a key to rewind it. Being sold as parts.
One looks to be a passenger car. One is a storage cargo car. The last one is a Caboose. All parts on other cars work smoothly and show clean wheels and undercarriage. Cars are 7″.
