The puffer bulb and puffing action works as it should. Here is an excellent example of an early Marx Clockwork 400 Puffer Locomotive & Tin NYC Coal Tender. This Coal Tender has tab-slot couplers at both ends, and the loco has a tab-slot drawbar.
It worked great in reverse. Shows signs of its age. May have paint wear/scratches/scuffs.
