Brass HO scale locomotive. Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) 2-10-4 J-1 class from Westside Model Company. Manufactured by Katsumi Mokeiten Co. in Japan. Has an open frame motor that runs well. She also features sprung drivers, a working headlight, and Kadee couplers on the front of the locomotive and the back of the tender. Includes the original box. Shipping costs include insurance. More rare finds in my aunt’s collection. This is a Westside Model Company HO Steam Locomotive and Tender from the Pennsylvania Railway. Model M-1a 4-8-2 wheel configuration, non-finished. Manufactured by Kasumi Mokeiten Co. in Japan and imported to Westside in California. Been in storage a long time. The foam packaging in the box is deteriorating, but pieces are in great shape. This locomotive was professionally lightly weathered and is nicely done. This locomotive is in new condition with no broken or missing parts and is dirt and dust free. Box has shelf wear.

This locomotive looks to be in new condition having never been ran. Despite this I did test it to ensure functionality and it runs in forwards and reverse as it should. Any tarnish on the brass is just from age and sitting in the box. Please inspect photos prior to purchase. This is part of a large HO brass collection I have recently acquired. Sorry, not familiar with this collection. Heavy piece for it’s size, weighing 2.2 lb. The train only has one or two very light nicks to painted edge. It’s a sweet looking piece for a train enthusiast!

Tested and slightly lubled ( I suggest to re-lubricate this model every 50 hours of operation or annually), the PRR 2-10-4 Class J-1A runs very well on both directions at any speed with working front light( just noisy at it is normal for this type of engine ).
