I have found they clean off very well with just a wet paper towel.
Made in Korea by Samhongsa. CIL #2527.1 factory painted (#6200) HO scale brass model from 2004. Only 35 of these models were imported by Challenger Imports, Ltd. This model was bench tested and it runs well in both directions.

Lionel 8976 with 2227B tender. It looks to be in excellent condition to me but please view the photos and be the judge for yourself as all collectors seem to view things differently. Engine runs well in both directions. Boiler is marked 227. The tender is rubber stamped 2227B. Lights work and the bell makes a nice sound. I note that there may be a small bar missing from the tender coupler. Also, I rubbed my finger on the bell and apparently rubbed off a spot of patina. Please ask any questions that you have. It runs smooth with original box. Each loco is missing the top right horn. Unless otherwise noted, all locomotives run smooth and all cars and locos are in original boxes and fitted with Kadee couplers.
