This is a rare Lionel FM Trainmaster Clear Shell Prototype from the Richard Kughn Collection. It is a perfect addition for collectors of model railroads and trains. The FM Trainmaster is a great highlight for any collector with its unique features and prototype design. This item is a must-have for any Lionel clear shell collector. This came out of the Dr. Woodell collection along with other clear shell items. This is a factory Lionel prototype that has been cut in half and I have no idea why. Possibly so it was never used after Lionel Research and Development inspected it. It does bare the Lionel mount Clemens Michigan mold stamp on the inside as well as 2321-5 as a part number in the mold. I believe this was to retest the molds on the fm train master that Lionel used.
