The EMD F3 is a 1,500 horsepower diesel locomotive built by General Motors’ Electro-Motive Division between 1945 and 1949. The F3 was the third model in EMD’s successful F-unit series of cab unit diesels, and it was the second most produced of the series behind the F7.

There are heavily tarnished spots on the locomotive. There are nicks and scratches on the train. This needs to be cleaned and polished to restore it. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included, however a foam liner is not. n scale santa Fe switcher locomotive. in extremely nice looks like new condition. bottom looks like new. i had taken and ran it to verify it runs. this seems to be a little bigger than other n scale, see the picture. i ran it and after about 5 seconds it got so fast i had to slow it down. light is very bright. don’t see any brand, but made in Mexico.
