Introduced in 1987 this Challenger model was the last of the Con-Cor/Rivarossi steam locomotive releases (actually, the last new Con-Cor/Rivarossi locomotive of any kind). As far as I know, the only change it ever received over its relatively brief lifespan was the addition of blackened wheels (in the mid-to-late 1990s).

For sale is an MTH Premier Reading RDG 4-8-4 T-1 steam locomotive & tender #2124. Catalog 20-3130-1. Engine is equipped with ProtoSound 2.0 and is a 3-volt board. Engine has been fully tested in DCS and operates as its should.
The HO IHC Premier M9893 Lehigh Valley 4-6-2 #2022 is a beautifully detailed model steam locomotive in 1:87 scale.

7405 READING T1 4-8-4, “IRON HORSE RAMBLES” EXCURSION #2124, PARAGON4 SOUND/DC/DCC, SMOKE, N SCALE. N SCALE, PARAGON4 DC/DCC, SOUND, DIE CAST WITH SMOKE . The plans were for 2100 and 2124 to pull the excursion trains, and they would keep 2101 as a back-up and 2123 as a source of parts.
