Offered is a vintage tin lithograph electric steam locomotive marked “Franklin” with matching F.Y. 88 & P. tender. This colorful locomotive features a black boiler, green cab and tender, red driving wheels, brass-colored domes, and a bright red cowcatcher. The locomotive and tender are connected and retain many original details. The motor and drive components are present.
Unique Art #1950 Tin Litho Steam Locomotive and Tender. Runs well forward and reverse. The worst of it can be seen in the close-up photos.
This locomotive has been taken apart, serviced, cleaned, lubricated and tested. The Marx 591 was produced from 1953-58 and features a black painted tin body, DC battery powered motor, 3 way switch located on top of the boiler for stop, forward and reverse movement. Takes 2 D cell batteries not included. Runs good.
Key does not turn. Wheels move freely. 8 inches long by 3.5 inches tall. Nice bright colors. Shows rust and has some dents/damage. See photos for details.
