This is a highly collectibleKTM HO Scale E4 Series Shinkansen Max New Paint 8-Car Set, released in 2022. The E4 Series “Max” debuted in 1997 as the world’s only full double-decker high-speed train, capable of transporting up to 1,634 passengers in 16-car formation.
This model was converted to two foot gauge (On2) from a three foot gauge (On3) model. It has been upgraded to a Grandt Line Micro-Mo Motor Drive with a Swiss Faulhaber gear head motor. This model appears to have been only test run or hardly run, no visible wheel wear.
