This model is in almost MINT condition, sadly when I tested the model one of the number board panels popped out and I wasn’t able to find it again. Model has had zero run time besides the bench test. Both A units are equipped with functional MARS lights (not DCC). The box is in used condition, at some point some water got onto the corner, but it still holds its shape like new. The paint in these models is factory done. These models run very quietly. Comes with original parts bag, has drawbars, screws, etc.

HO Broadway Limited Union Pacific UP Early Challenger 3830 Paragon 4 BLI 4805
Up for sale is this beautiful Broadway Limited Union Pacific CSA-2 Early Challenger 4-6-6-4 locomotive #3830. It is a brass hybrid model and is factory equipped with Paragon 4 DCC & sound. It is in excellent condition and runs well. The wheel faces of the front pilot wheels and the axle ends of the drivers have been professionally painted to match the color of the driver wheel faces. The couplers have been replaced with Kadee scale heads. The only flaw is that the rear tender headlight does not seem to be working, however this may be a programming related issue.

Test ran on 6/12/25 and found her to run smooth and quiet in both directions with directional lighting. Likely test run only. Original box & foam are included and in good shape. A must for the brass SP collector!
