It is missing the front and rear wheels. It was not tested but the middle wheels do turn freely. It is being sold for parts or repair.
The reverse unit is consistent and the smoke is strong. Very nice engine. These were made in 1951 only. This one has a horn in the tender in addition to the smoke and choo-choo. TCA #97-45581. Internal reference RT353.

Lionel 2466W whistling tender shell from 1948–1950. Over ninety percent of the original black paint is gone, leaving this glowing, half-translucent cherry-red Tenite underneaththe color it flashed fresh from the mold before anyone ever sprayed it black.
