Up for sale is a rare American GK/Walthers powered GE E60 electric locomotive in the New Haven scheme. The New Haven never had these engines, but this is a cool “what-if.” The locomotive uses a unique E60 shell produced by American GK, later sold under Walthers. The chassis uses Athearn components and runs well, as any standard Athearn blue ox locomotive does, though it could use a thorough cleaning and servicing. The locomotive is in kit form, all the additional detail parts and metal pantographs are still sealed in the bag. The instructions and decals are also included.
