Up for sale is an Athearn “Blue Box” HO Gauge vintage EMD SD40-2 locomotive, used. The locomotive is adorned in Santa Fe’s attractive Blue and Yellow freight scheme. The locomotive is equipped with DCC which has been tested to perform as intended. The condition of the locomotive is C-5 Good with some minor evidence of previous operation on a layout (please refer to the pictures). There is slight layer of dust evident on the walkways. The locomotive is equipped with KD style knuckle couplers. A box is provided which is not the original box. Thanks for looking.
