This model is not currently running and will need more TLC. From my personal collection, I was originally going to have this locomotive converted to a Class 56/60 Teakettle but we decided to change scales midway through the project.
The Westside Model Company HO Scale Brass MK-11 2-8-2 Steam Locomotive SP #3297 is a vintage model train engine made by WMC, known for its excellent grade (C-7) and detailed design. This locomotive is a replica of the Southern Pacific railway’s 2-8-2 wheel configuration, featuring a classic black color and crafted from brass material. Westside Model Co. Brass MK-11 2-8-2 Newaukun Valley R.R. HO. Hardly any tarnishing, after 50 years. as this locomotive has lived in this box for 50 years. Original box and foam, as we can see in the pictures the box top has split corners.

1807 of these were imported from Japan in 1975. Unpainted & unnumbered. Tested on 6/29/26 and found her to not run in either direction. Minor wheel wear noted during testing. Original box & top/bottom layers of foam are included and in good shape.

Sorry, not familiar with this collection. Heavy piece for it’s size, weighing 2.2 lb. The train only has one or two very light nicks to painted edge. It’s a sweet looking piece for a train enthusiast!
