Proudly manufactured in the United States in 1947. It has been tested and runs well in both forward and reverse. The smoke unit as original. The motor has had the brushes replaced and lubricated.

The coal pile is the correct “bakelite,” which was an early type of heavy plastic. You NEED to “ZOOM IN” and STUDY the photos very carefully. What you see is what you get. The whistle has been rewired with that wonderful “super flex” wire.

Brass HO scale locomotive. Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 J class, streamlined, #611 from Sunset Models, manufactured by Samhongsa in Korea. Has a can motor that runs well but the drawbar connection with the tender is touchy and needs some adjustment. It features a working headlight, sprung drivers, back head details, and a Kadee coupler on the tender. One thing to note, the nose of the boiler was installed upside down at some point (the grab bar should be on the bottom) and the price reflects this issue. Comes with the original box and foam.
