Vintage (1929-1930)Ives 258 Locomotive and 258T Tender

This comes from the collection of a lifelong train collector. That being said we are not train people. We don’t know what has or hasn’t been done to the item.We just try to tell everything we see. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES. The tags he has on this train say runs great in forward and reverse. we can’t get it to do either. it hums and tries to go but can’t. It has been in storage for quite a few years so maybe it needs the motor cleaned. we don’t know . He has the cow catcher in a plastic bag so it will need reattaching. It does have paint wear on the tender and locomotive Considering it’s age that’s not a surprise. PLEASE SEE PICS FOR CONDITION. T8
