Old train, toy. About HO scale, but made for display. Has some weight to it. Was purchased MANY years ago from “Santa’s World”. Estate item. Probably 1960’s- 1970’s. Pre UPC. 1831 De WITT CLINTON The third Steam Locomotive to be built in the U.S.A. was made by West Point Foundry in New York for the South Carolina Railroad. Pulling cars that resembled Stagecoaches, The DE WITT CLINTON'S maiden run with a train was from Albany to Schenectady, a 14 mile distance and ran in 46 minutes on August 9, 1831. • HANDCRAFTED IN THE PHILIPPINES EXCLUSIVELY FOR KURT S.
