9044 EMD SD40 High Nose - Standard DC - Stealth. Southern Railway #3178 (Tuxedo, black, white). Between 1966 and 1972, GM built 1268 of these locomotives before introducing the new SD40-2. This Stealth Series no-sound/DCC-ready model operates on DC out of the box, or a modeler can easily install their DCC decoder of choice.
