This listing is for a fantastic A3 size 'reprint' of a rare 1937 Hornby Poster featuring London Midlands and Scottish (LMS) Railway's Princess Elizabeth 6201 steam locomotive. This locomotive was built in 1933 at the LMS Crewe works. It was named after Princess Elizabeth who was the 7 year old daughter of Albert, the Duke of York. The 7 year old Princess grew up to become Queen Elizabeth II! This locomotive was withdrawn from service in 1962. It has since been through several preservations, and most latterly was back in service in 2019 following extensive boiler repairs.This beautiful Poster has been digitally restored so that there are no scuffs, creases, stains, or graffiti marks. The colours are sharp and vibrant - no sun fading!This would look fantastic in a picture frame.This is printed onto 230gm premium quality glossy photo paper.
