This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-3: Good based on visual appearance. Both shells have been custom painted and decorated. Small spots of paint loss are present along the edges of the shell, the waterslide decals have visible outlines and some are slightly askew. The overall quality of the custom paint is very well done and fairly faithful to the original paint scheme. Each locomotive has spots of surface rust on the chassis. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shells and chassis. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. The original boxes are not included.
