This is a set of Lionel 2383 Santa Fe F-3 A-A Diesels, manufactured between 1958 and 1966. They are in excellent original condition. They have been boxed in wrong boxes: 8652 and 8653. The 2383 powered A unit was tested and it works great. It has: MagnaTraction on both motors and a compartment for a "D" cell battery on the underside for the horn (not tested). The 8652 version would not have these features. The 2383 A "Dummy" lights up. This item is sold as is and has not been inspected internally or has had any parts or wires replaced or repaired.
