For sale is an out-of-production brass tender made in Japan for Northwest Shortline (NWSL). This is a model of the Norfolk & Western 9,000 gallon tender. I purchased a Cal-Scale #190-306 HO tender air brake set (standard ERA), Type "U," and installed it on the underside of this tender. I airbrushed the tender and trucks with a flat black solvent-based paint (I think it was Floquil). I decaled the model with white "Pennsylvania," the PRR logo, and the number 146. A added real coal and a poker. I had also installed a micro-led rear light as part of the DCC decoder I intended to use. The tender was weathered lightly.
