The prototype is a Beyer Peacock Tram Locomotive that ran on the Glyn Valley Tramway. The undercarriage incorporates a HO gauge ROVEX 0-6-0 unit as per the kit instructions, and runs well. The notch in front of the cab is slightly larger (for balance).
