III"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Steam locomotive series 86 of the Austrian Federal Railways. \u25a0 With long-cut welded water tanks \u25a0 Clear view through driver&#8217;s cab window \u25a0 Retrofittable smoke generator The class 86 was a standard tank locomotive built in large numbers by numerous German locomotive factories for the Deutsche Reichsbahn. Some of these steam locomotives arrived in Austria after the end of the war and were used to transport passengers and goods. One of the most spectacular jobs was the pre-tensioning work for the heavy ore trains ahead of the 52 series. The machines were at home in, among others, the Hieflau, Selzthal, Linz, Bischofhofen and St. Veit\/Glan boilers.
