The owner passed away and his spouse asked us to help with liquidation of the Marklin collection. The gentleman did not have a layout, so this locomotive wasn\u2019t run in a long time. It was part of a \u201cshelf collection\u201d. According to the date on the original box it was sold\/produced in 1965. We confirmed that it\u2019s working like on day one. It runs great, changes direction without problem, and has working lights. It also still has the original manual.
