Features include bi-directional lighting and interior LED lights. Two upgrades: originally these sets were equipped with 3 pole motors, this set has been upgraded to 5 pole motors (new with no run time beyond a brief test). The original train sets were flawed with very poor running characteristics and flickering lights, this set has been upgraded with rewired circuit board thus diodes on circuit boards were bypassed: set runs flawlessly with no flickering lines and very smooth running characteristics not possible with original train as released by Marklin.
