Behold the Lionel SD80MAC, one of the longest scale diesel locomotives that Lionel has ever built, second banana to their DD35A releases from several years ago. However, because this is a pre-2020 model, it does not have Bluetooth or the latest new features, such as multiple horn and bell options or realistic radio chatter.

This new truck allowed the locomotive to transfer its power to the rails more efficiently, which in turn enabled two SD70M locomotives to pull a train that would have taken 3 SD40-2s to pull.
